                  • 2017 Old Tyme Christmas and Tree Lighting
                  • If you have never been to Tonkawa for the parade and Christmas Tree Lighting, you need to put this event on your "bucket list." Tonkawa's Old Tyme Christmas is one of Oklahoma’s top ten Christmas destinations, and our decorations and parade are the reasons why.
                  • Have your picture taken with Santa at the historic Tonkawa Santa Fe Depot, spend some time at the live Nativity scene, sing Christmas songs with the elementary school children at Heart in the Park or around the tree on Grand Avenue, and at the patio of TS Fork Restaurant. Several of our downtown restaurants will be open for business, or chow down on homemade chicken and noodles by the First Assembly of God ladies at the Depot. The Friends of the Library will be sharing the love with yummy Christmas treats and hot cocoa; bells will be ringing at the Heritage Room of First National Bank, there will be additional shopping and fun, and, of course, our Parade!
                  • It all happens November 30th. (In case of bad weather, the parade will reschedule for December 7th ). See the flyer to your right for the schedule of events.

The Chamber wishes to thank Senator Fields, and Representative Pfeiffer for their time and willingness to share the issues and successes of our state. We also want to thank Alewa Deli for hosting this event for this Legislative session.
